A blend of three different Palisade vineyards aged in both French and American oak, this wine brings out many of the classic flavors of this King of all grapes. Notes of black cherry, currant, and plum balance against lightly herbal hints of thyme and mint, followed by a smooth finish with lingering notes of clove and vanilla. A medium- bodied red, lighter than a California Cab, but delicious all the same. Try with a wide variety of dishes, from roast chicken to pastas to pork tenderloin.
