Named Best Colorado Winery Experience!
Located in Main Street Station at the base of Peak 9, Continental Divide Winery brings small-batch, high-altitude winemaking to downtown Breckenridge. Visitors can explore handcrafted Colorado wines, limited-release blends, and guided tasting experiences designed for both casual wine drinkers and dedicated enthusiasts.
A Tasting Room Made for Breckenridge
Inside our Breckenridge tasting room, guests discover wines shaped by elevation, climate, and the character of the Rockies. We produce each bottle in small batches, working with vineyards in Colorado and select California mountain regions. The result is a range of wines that reflect the sharp light, clean air, and dramatic landscapes that surround us.
Flights rotate throughout the year, highlighting both Colorado-grown varietals and limited releases available only in Breckenridge. Whether you prefer a guided tasting or a quiet glass with friends, our team is here to help you explore the wines at your own pace.
Tastings are available daily and include:
- Classic Flights featuring red and white selections
- Colorado-Only Flights showcasing regional grapes
- Reserve & Limited-Release Flights available in limited quantities
- Wine by the Glass or Bottle for relaxing indoors or on our patio
We are a dog-friendly tasting room. Walk-ins are always welcome, though reservations are recommended during peak seasons.
Breckenridge’s Original Wine Blending Experience
For guests looking for something more hands-on, our Wine Blending Experience has become a favorite Breckenridge activity. Working with beakers, pipettes, and a selection of single-varietal wines, you create your own blend, bottle it, and take it home.
Popular for:
- Après-ski groups
- Bachelorette weekends
- Date night
- Family activities
- Corporate and team events
This experience is available only in Breckenridge and is one of the most distinctive activities in Summit County.
A Local, Independent Winery
Continental Divide Winery was founded by winemakers committed to Colorado’s growing wine region. We produce wines in small batches using grapes sourced from Colorado vineyards and select California mountain sites.
Each season brings new bottlings, new stories from partner vineyards, and new ways to taste how mountain environments influence wine.
World’s Highest Altitude Winery
We produce all of our wines at approximately 10,000 feet elevation, making Continental Divide the highest altitude producing winery in the world. Crafting and aging wines high atop the Rocky Mountains minimizes oxygen exposure and allows the true flavors of the fruit and land to come through. To further capitalize on our unique alpine location, we use a patented winemaking system to craft many of our wines in a nearly zero oxygen closed-cell environment and we use snow and the extreme temperatures of our alpine environment to help control fermentation.
