This historic event boasts arts, craft and food vendors, burro, llama, dog and outhouse races, a parade, live music, cowboy church, and more! The Breckenridge Food and Wine Festival delivers a unique, wine-tasting experience as the Main Street Station Plaza transforms into a charming mountain-side, vineyard with an array of varietals created by fine wineries. The Breck Epic is a 6-day mountain bike race held in and around the backcountry surrounding Breckenridge. Each stage begins and ends in town, allowing racers to stay in one place for the entire event. The race is 220-240 miles long and features roughly 40,000 feet of vertical gain (and loss). The Epic is composed of 6 BIG backcountry loops (3 loops for the 3-day Epic-curious events), each between 35 and 50 miles long. The race has been described as a rad vibe with a mid-90s mayhem feel. Come enjoy a post race glass of wine at Continental Divide to celebrate your achievement!
 

Breckenridge International Festival of Arts, or BIFA for short, is a celebration of adventure, creativity, nature and play. Local, national and international artists create an eclectic mix of music, dance, film, visual arts and family entertainment rooted in mountain culture and the natural environment. Throughout the festival, Breck Create produces dozens of events in the cultural venues, public parks, trails and open spaces of Breckenridge.





 

Enjoy a weekend full of wine themed events all around town during the Breckenridge Wine Classic.  Located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, the Breckenridge Wine Classic is a three-day festival anchored by the two-day Grand Tasting in addition to unique seminars such as a guided hike and wine pairing lunch with master winemakers, wine dinners planned by world-class sommeliers, and more than 100 wineries, breweries, distilleries, and epicurean purveyors at this ultimate food, wine, and sensory experience. Tickets required for most events, but drop in wine tasting welcome at Continental Divide's main tasting room in Main Street Station throughout the festival. Saturday, August 24th we will be hosting a 5 course candle lit wine pairing dinner which is not to be missed! Breckenridge hosts the largest Oktoberfest street party in the Rocky Mountains. The September street party is where Munich meets the mountains, featuring:more than three-dozen genuine German cuisine and brew vendors,German-themed games including Hammerschlagan Bavarian lederhosen, Oompah and polka dancing.  And when you tire of beer, drop by Continental Divide and taste some of our Bavarian alpine inspired wines like Riesling, Gewürztraminer and more.

Once upon a time, the Norse winter god, Ullr (OOOL-er), was traveling around the Northern Hemisphere depositing snow, when he happened to find himself in the resort ski town of Breckenridge. Locals were pleased to receive Ullr’s gift of snow, and decided to celebrate each year with a weeklong festival paying homage to the Norse god. Festivities include one of the world’s wildest parades, a town bonfire, a plunge into the icy waters of Maggie Pond (immediately adjacent to our tasting room), the world's largest shotski, and more.  Come welcome winter with a tasting flight at Continental Divide Winery located at the base of Peak 9 in Main Street Station.  Highlights of this weekend event include Crowning of the Ullr King and Queen, World’s Longest ShotSki® Unofficial World Record Breaking Attempt (Main Street); Ullr Parade; Ullr Bonfire; Ullr Comedy Night; Ice Skating Party; Ice Skating Exhibition & Show and more. 
 

Breckenridge’s International Snow Sculpture Championships is a world-renowned snow sculpting competition where teams from around the world descend on Breckenridge, Colorado to hand-carve 25-ton blocks of snow into enormous, intricate works of art. Artists are only allowed to use hand tools, creativity and inspiration to bring their ideas to life.  Teams sculpt countless hours across five days (totaling around 94 hours), resulting in a temporary outdoor art gallery in historic downtown Breckenridge! When its time to warm up after checking out the ice, drop by our Breck Tasting Room for a glass of warm mulled wine!
