Join Continental Divide Winery for the Chef’s Throw Down Cooking Competition at Alpenglow Stube atop Keystone Mountain. Four highly skilled professional Alpenglow Stube Chefs will compete against acclaimed Denver Chef Carrie Baird. This is more than producing a pretty plate, it about taste. It is about challenging a chef's ability, skill and the understanding of ingredients. Each chef is assigned an ingredient and course, then must create a culinary dish on competition day for the “Throw Down” dinner which you will enjoy. Our internal judges and attendees taste the food in a 4 coursed dinner with paired Continental Divide wines and vote for their favorites. Chef Carrie Baird has made a name for herself leading the kitchens of some of the most highly regarded restaurants in Denver including Rioja and Euclid Hall. Most recently, Baird was a finalist on Top Chef Colorado.
